In a blink of an eye

Beaver Creek, Colorado

Reminded by a friend's post describing the decent of Franz Klammer in his Gold Medal downhill race in the 1976 Olympics. I remember that run; it was exciting to me. It inspired me. I wanted to learn to ski. Soon forgot the desire, with the stuff of life happening.

Reading that post, rekindles my desire; but in the blink of an eye, almost 35 years have passed. Now my body is broken.

Sister Hathor saw your comment on another site in regards to the IRS worker Mr.(Brother) Hunter's wife suing the widow of the man that caused his death. I have seen your comments and posting and always wondered if you were named Heather...guess I was way off. Nice to see/read one's musing that grew up during the same time fram. I also at this moment thinking about how time flys. I don't feel old but I think old and I too have some unmet "things I want to do". Enjoy the rest of time.

StillaPanther2,

My name is not close to Hathor. It's an old fashion name, which were both my grandmother's middle name.

I appreciate your visit.

I sometime feel that there needs to be more older voices on the net. It surprises me how unknowledgable younger people are at times.
